Installation Troubleshooting

Solutions for common installation issues

Router won't power on

Solution: Check if the power adapter is properly connected to both the router and electrical outlet. Try a different power outlet. If still no power, contact support immediately.

Can't find WiFi network

Solution: Ensure the router is powered on and fully booted (wait 3 minutes). Check the WiFi button - it may be turned off. Restart the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds.

Wrong WiFi password

Solution: The default password is on the router label. Make sure you're entering it correctly (case-sensitive). Look for the label with "WiFi Password" or "Network Key".

No internet connection

Solution: Verify the ethernet cable is connected to the modem and WAN port on the router. Check if LED lights are on. Restart both modem and router. Wait 5 minutes and try again.

Slow internet speed

Solution: Check if too many devices are connected. Move closer to the router. Reduce interference from other electronics. Restart the router. Test wired connection for comparison.

Can't access router settings

Solution: Make sure you're using the correct IP address (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1). Try accessing from a wired connection. Clear browser cache and cookies. Reset router to factory settings if needed.
